Today, we have our first Simply Sara Strong Story Sharing day!! This is a blog written on Sundays that people have either nominated themselves or someone else for. There is no hard nor fast rule regarding how big or small the strength needs to be. If you made it a week without hitting snooze, I wanna hear about it! If you hit a milestone of being sober, I want to hear about it! I want to help cheer you on in both the big and small wins of life.
Having said that, we have received our first submission from one of our Simply Sara Strong fans! Our guest fan has submitted a story regarding her mother, Jeaneene. I asked our fan Sarah if it was okay to disclose their names and she willfully agreed. Sarah writes…
“Yeah, her name is Jeaneene. Just that she is the epitome of Godly strength. I mean her mom (my gram) died on Tuesday. She moved out of the house she’s lived in for the last 17 years and the man she’s been married to for 36 years yesterday to move in with us until she finds her own place. All that in one week. And all this and she also deals with MS. She’s my hero, my example, and just an amazing blessing. Watching her lean on God through the hard times has been such an inspiration for me. I’m rambling now. She’s just spectacular.”
Well Sarah, I don’t mind the ramble one bit!! My deepest condolences on your families recent loss. Your mother sounds just as amazing as you describe her. She is exuding strength while being faced with numerous situations that even just 1 of them could cause someone to hit rock bottom. Please make sure you recognize your strength as well. You are a WITNESS to her strength and you are providing for her a place to stay and a will to keep pushing on. You are so strong also!
Thank you so much for sharing your story with myself and the Simply Sara Strong fans!! Please share with your friends/families our Simply Sara Strong story sharing so we can continue to shoutout our fans for both the big and little wins of life.
Don’t forget to subscribe to the blog and if you haven’t already, please follow me on IG at http://www.instagram.com/simplysarastrong I cannot wait to hear YOUR story of strength! I accept submissions for stories of strength via email, FB or IG any day of the week, it does not have to be on Sunday.
Have a blessed evening and I pray this week is one of great success and happiness!
